It has been a memorable sporting weekend for St. Augustine’s School, with Sasonians bringing home honours from both the basketball court and the swimming pool.
On Friday and Saturday, 18–19 September 2026, the school’s young basketballers competed in the Late Fr. Paul D’Souza Basketball Tournament for Classes 10 and below at St. Stephen’s Academy, Kaffer — and returned as champions.
Then, on Saturday, 19 September 2026, came another reason to celebrate. At the Anglo-Indian Swimming Competition at Dr. Graham’s Homes, St. Augustine’s won the Burns Shield in the ICSE category and the Fr. Gressot Cup in the ISC category.
Across the 36 swimming events, SAS won an impressive 28 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Two sports. Two venues. Two major swimming trophies. One very successful weekend for the Blue and Yellow.
