Hi All, I am Rishav Diyali. Glad to see the members directory growing here. Hoping to connect with the seniors and learn more about your stories and life experiences. Little about me, I passed my ICSE in 2019 and ISC in 2021 (Yes, I was the unfortunate COVID batch). I am currently working in Gurgaon. If anyone is working here too, let's connect on linkedin -https://www.linkedin.com/in/rishavdiyali/ I would not go into how my experience was in SAS. I am sure most of us had a great time. What I would like to share is my experience after SAS. Life after SAS changed drastically for me when I went to Delhi to pursue my B.Tech. The first bitter lesson was how much of a "kuwa ko bhyaguta" we all are. Identity crisis, discrimination, cut-throat competition and communal politics became the new normal. I'm sure many of our alumni who left our beloved "Pahad" have faced similar challenges. Nonetheless, this experience also made me realise how much I truly love "Kaleybung" and strengthened my sense of Identity. If it were not for the character I developed in school and my beloved friends - Pat, Sanju Baba, Malay, Bhaijaan, Momo and Majnu, I might not have been able to survive the tough 4 years of my engineering.

Welcome, Rishav, and thank you for sharing this. Your experience after SAS is something many Sasonians will relate to in different ways. Do keep contributing to the other threads as well — your perspective as a younger Sasonian will add a lot to the discussions.
